Cleo - update on home improvements?

How did your home improvements turn out after the last hurricane?

I remember you had a tree through your roof and other assorted problems.

Hope you'll let us know you and your home are doing.

Home remodeling is going well. :)

Moved back into my old bedroom this week but my mattress is on the floor as my bedroom set hasn't arrived yet.

Kitchen is ready for its cabinets which should be here on the 19th. The electricians are coming again today to finish installing the recessed lighting and then they are done except for a few lights that go in the cabinets.

I've emptied my living room, dinning room, and den as that is the next part of my house to get the walls textured and tile laid and then after that my office and guest bedroom is next.

My roof is watertight but its tile is sitting in piles on it as I'm still waiting for the roofers to finish it.

Fence has been replaced so I have privacy in my yard again.

I do really miss having a working kitchen. After the cabinets are installed then the counter top people come in to make templates and I'm told that it then takes a few weeks before I actually have counter tops.

I'm hoping to have everything done by new years but with the holidays coming up it is going to be close.

I'll post some pics later today after I'm had my coffee and I'm awake enough to use Photoshop and a camera.
